Spotlight: Auction House Algarve

Auction House Algarve is hosting auctions this weekend! With almost 14 years of experience in the Algarve, they recently moved to a new facility in São Brás where they conduct live auctions, which are possible to view and participate in via their online bidding platform.

They hold at least two auctions a month: one live in São Brás and one online-only. Today, they are hosting a live auction starting at 10 AM, which you can also view and bid on online after registering through their website. Tomorrow (Sunday), they will hold an online-only auction featuring smaller items.

The team at Auction House Algarve makes it easy to get involved. Whether you attend in person, enjoy a croissant and some social time, or bid online through their website or app (available in the App Store), the process is seamless. Since the pandemic, most people participate online, with about 300-400 bidders per auction.

Operating on a consignment basis, the auction house is ideal for those moving or clearing out a house. Simply email them photos of your items, and their friendly team will value, collect, photograph, and allocate them to a sale, taking a commission from the items sold.

The auctions feature a wide array of items, and also occasional specialized auctions for things such as toys, art, and collectibles.
